Hull City are offering £2.5 million for Newcastle United midfielder Kevin Nolan.

Nolan, 29, joined Toon from Bolton for £4m in January but is now desperate to quit St James' Park after suffering relegation.

Tigers boss Phil Brown is a huge admirer of Nolan, having worked with him at Bolton.
