Hull City have made a £4 million offer for Manchester United striker Fraizer Campbell.

The Sunday Mirror says Campbell, 20, wants to stay at Old Trafford and fight for a first team place next season. But manager Sir Alex Ferguson has yet to decide whether the England Under-21 man has a future with United.

If Sir Alex opts to cash in on Campbell, Tigers boss Phil Brown will make him his club's record signing.
