Hull City boss Steve Bruce is believed to be keen on making a winter move for West Bromwich Albion striker Shane Long.
The Republic of Ireland international was close to moving to the KC Stadium in the summer but Albion's Steve Clarke blocked the transfer at the last minute.
However, it is being reported by the Mirror that the Tigers are keen on offering £6.5million for Long who has started just five times for the Baggies this season.
Hull have scored just nine goals in 11 Premier League matches this season with Robbie Brady and Yannick Sagbo leading the way with three and two goals respectively while star winger Sone Aluko is sidelined with an Achilles injury.
