Championship club Hull City have reportedly made an offer for Chicago Fire's Shaun Maloney.
The MLS club have revealed to MLSsoccer.com that the Tigers have lodged a bid for the Scotland international who only arrived in the USA in January this year.
32-year-old attacking midfielder Maloney joined the Fire from Wigan Athletic as a Designated Player but injuries and national team duties have restricted him to just 12 MLS appearances so far.
Maloney has scored three times and provided two assists for Chicago who sit second bottom on the Eastern Conference table after 21 games.
