Hull loss heaps pressure on Everton's Moyes

Another Everton loss, this time at the hands of Hull City, has heaped pressure on manager David Moyes.

The Toffees dropped to 14th on the table after suffering their sixth league loss of the season and their current position indicates that the Scot may be facing a premature exit from Goodison Park.

Moyes has had to deal with injury after injury this season and has been unable to dip into a transfer kitty to sign reinforcements and with the latest news of having their plans for a new stadium scuppered, the club is back to the drawing board to find an affordable home.

The fact the Toffees do not have the resources of clubs challenging for the top four does not bode well for them moving forward and Moyes could quite possibly be the scape goat for what has been a abysmal start to their 2009/10 campaign.

But a few days is a long time in football and a win this weekend in the Merseyside derby against Liverpool at home could be just the tonic Moyes and his Toffees need to begin a fightback.
