Hull City striker Danny Graham is facing three weeks out.
Graham suffered severe bruising to his knee during Saturday's game with Everton following a first-half challenge by Gareth Barry.
A statement on Hull's website said: "Although scans have revealed the striker escaped serious injury following a first-half challenge by Gareth Barry, severe bone bruising around the knee will keep the on-loan Sunderland man out of action until next month with a return to action in our away game against Southampton a possibility."
