Hull City legend Dean Windass is excited by their swoop for Abel Hernandez.
Windass wrote in the Hull Daily Mail: "He's come with a decent goalscoring record with Palermo in Italy and I gather he was on the score-sheet for Uruguay in Japan this week.
"The lad has clearly got something about him.
"City's scouting team will have done their homework over the past 12 months and they believe he can cut the mustard here in England.
"Now comes the challenge for Hernandez to justify his price tag.
"A lot will depend on character as much as ability."
