Hull City legend Dean Windass is backing their move for Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon.
The Tigers have been linked with a January bid for the England international.
Windass wrote in the Hull Daily Mail: "When City hosted Spurs last Sunday, I was doing my hospitality role at the KC with my former team-mate Andy Dawson.
"As soon as Lennon was introduced by Mauricio Pochettino, I said to Daws how I'd love to see him in a Hull City shirt.
"For me, the speedster totally changed the game and it beggars belief how he's not starting matches.
"Seeing Lennon linked in the national papers just days later was surprising to me, but something I think Steve Bruce should look at with genuine interest."
