Hull lead race for Crystal Palace striker Campbell

Hull City are leading the race to secure the services of Crystal Palace striker Frazier Campbell, according to reports from the Daily Mirror.

Campbell has been made available by Palace this month and as a result, a host of Championship clubs have expressed their interest in signing the striker.

The likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Ipswich Town and Queens Park Rangers were all said to be keen on Campbell but his former club Hull have emerged as favourites to sign the 28-year-old.

Former Manchester United youngster Campbell spent time on loan with the Tigers back in 2007/08.
