Hull City boss Phil Brown will bid for Cardiff City winger Joe Ledley.

The Sun says Brown will test Cardiff's determination to hang on to Ledley by tabling a £5million bid.

Hull boss Brown watched Wales midfielder Ledley and Bluebirds striker Ross McCormack, both 22, in the friendly against Celtic last night.

Cardiff have quoted £10m for the pair but Brown is not prepared to pay that.
