Hull keeper Myhill insists morale still high

Hull City lost 1-0 at home to Aston Villa' making it three losses in a row for Phil Brown's men and four without a win in the league. The Tigers now find themselves in eighth place in the Premier League, seven points above the relegation places, but Myhill is confident the team can bounce back.

"The mood in the changing room was obviously deflated, you're going to be after defeats," he told the Hull Daily Mail.

"The manner in which some of the decisions went against us, especially at that stage of the game hurt us.

"We can take heart from the performance because we stuck to the game plan the manager laid down for us, admirably.

"A bit of misfortune undid us after good play from them. We showed character and it was a good response but it's points that win prizes and we have to keep going and get back and start getting some points on the board after a good start.

"For a newly promoted side we have a decent amount of points and we need to keep adding to that total and keep things ticking over."
