Hull City goalkeeper Boaz Myhill believes he's proved Aston Villa were wrong to dump him five years ago.
"We came to an agreement at Aston Villa that I was never going to play there, I was not ready," Myhill said.
"It's a club I've always supported, but things don't always work out the way you want them to in football and sometimes you have to leave clubs and work hard in order to improve.
"I'd like to think that's what I've done at Hull. Every player wants to play at the highest level and I'm no different. We now have a great chance of clinching promotion here at Hull.
"Obviously the stadium here is a Premier League stadium, I don't think anybody can argue with that. It's up to us as a group now to prove that we are a Premier League squad."
