Newcastle United hero Steve Harper says his old club must sign Loic Remy as soon as they can.
The on-loan QPR striker has been outstanding for the Toon since his arrival.
Hull City goalkeeper Harper told the Evening Chronicle: "I've been very impressed by Remy - sign him up immediately, that would be my message.
"Hopefully, when you go into a loan agreement there would have been a fee agreed, which you can usually trigger at any time.
"That would certainly give all of the supporters a lift, to see Remy signed up sooner rather than later."
