Hull intent on getting one back on FA Cup holders Arsenal says Dawson

Michael Dawson has revealed that Hull City will be out for revenge when they square off against Arsenal in the FA Cup 5th Round replay against Arsenal in midweek.

Hull suffered a devastating loss in the final of the 2014 FA Cup at the hands of Arsenal before the Tigers were once again dumped out by the Gunners last season in the third round of the competition.

Hull were drawn against Arsenal in this year's edition of the cup as well and after having contained the Premier League side to a 0-0 draw at the Emirates Stadium in the initial fixture, defender Dawson has revealed that his side will be out for revenge at the KC Stadium when they contest the replay on Tuesday night.

The former Tottenham Hotspur man said: "We certainly do have some history with Arsenal.

"The place will be rocking, hopefully the Premier League will be coming back to the KC and from next August we'll have a Premier League team coming every single week.

"The FA Cup final gave a day out a few years ago, albeit the wrong result. It is a competition that we want to be successful in.

"But we also want to be in the Premier League and that's the most important thing for us this season. There's no hiding that. But we will be looking to progress into the next round, albeit against a good Arsenal team."
