Hull City boss Steve Bruce is chasing Stoke City striker Kenwyne Jones.

The Daily Star says Bruce will ask new Stoke boss Hughes if he can bring Jones or Peter Crouch to Humberside.

Trinidad and Tobago international Jones, who played under Bruce at the Stadium of Light, and former ­England marksman Crouch could both be up for grabs as Hughes wants to bring Mame Biram Diouf to the ­Britannia from Hannover.
