Hull City left-back Conor Townsend hopes to stay on-loan at Carlisle United.
He is due to return to his parent club on December 1.
Townsend told Carlisle's News and Star: "I'm really enjoying my time up here as it's been great experience. If they come back for me in January then so be it. With the atmosphere in the game and the stadium and playing against teams like Wolves, it made for a really good night. If I don't end up coming back, I can look back on the game as one I've really enjoyed."
