Hull City's Adama Diomande has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association.
The Tigers striker was involved in a confrontation with Bristol City's Marlon Pack late in the EFL Cup meeting at Ashton Gate on Tuesday night.
After a forward move from the Robins, Diomande and Pack came together on the edge of the box with the former appearing to take a swipe at the home side's midfielder which could land him in hot water with the FA.
An FA statement read: "It is alleged that Diomande's behaviour in or around the 90th minute of the fixture constitutes violent conduct."
Hull won 2-1 on the night to progress to the quarter-finals of the league cup competition.
