Hull City midfielder Robert Snodgrass is facing four months out with a knee injury.
The Daily Star says Hull fear their £8m buy from relegated Norwich could be out until Christmas after picking-up the injury in last Saturday's 1-0 opening day of the season win at newly-promoted QPR.
Scotland international Snodgrass, 26, was just 40 minutes into his Premier League debut for the Tigers when he tumbled awkwardly before leaving Loftus Road with his leg in a brace and on crutches.
Scans have revealed the midfielder has suffered a dislocated kneecap.
