Hull City fans are angry with a change of club badge without consultation.
City's furious followers were horrified when they discovered the re-designed badge on the team's new strip does not feature their club's name or Tigers nickname.
Mark Gretton from the fans group 'City Till We Die' said: "Why, when the club is more successful than ever, would you not tell everyone your name?
"This is an extremely foolish move. It's ludicrous. The FA has no jurisdiction over badges, but this undermines the judgement they made over the proposed name-change.
"We have become the club with no name. It's remarkable.
"We have a global brand already. It's Hull City. Our nickname is The Tigers."
