Hull City boss Steve Bruce could be without two key players for around four to six weeks.
Striker Nikica Jelavic and defender Michael Dawson both sustained injuries in the weekend's 2-2 draw with Arsenal and are now expected to spend some time on the sidelines.
Scans on Monday suggest that Jelavic and Dawson could be out for at least four weeks and as many as six with knee and ankle problems respectively.
Hull currently sit 11th on the Premier League table with two wins and four draws from their opening eight fixtures.
