Hull, Doncaster still chasing Sunderland defender Kilgallon

Sunderland defender Matthew Kilgallon is yet to make a move away from the Stadium of Light.

Kilgallon has been linked with Doncaster Rovers, but is also interesting Hull City.

Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll has made an enquiry about the 27-year-old, who joined Middlesbrough on a season-long loan in August.

Kilgallon has made only three appearances since arriving at The Riverside and his inactivity has alerted several rival managers, with O'Driscoll and Hull counterpart Nigel Pearson understood to be keen to make the former Leeds centre-half an integral part of their first-team plans.
