Hull delighted to have Guzan back from Villa

Brad Guzan has returned to Hull City from Aston Villa and the Championship could not be happier.

The American goalkeeper spent two months with the Tigers before returning to his parent club but is now back at KC Stadium on an emergency loan deal.

Guzan is back to replace fellow loanee Vito Mannone who was injured on the weekend and it was music to Hull assistant manager Craig Shakespeare's ears.

"We had a situation we had to act on and we're delighted to welcome Brad back," said Shakespeare.

"We were a bit reluctant to see him go. It was circumstances, but we are delighted to have him back.

"He's a player that knows the club well, the club know him well and, with Vito's injury, he's a welcome addition at this stage of the season."
