Hull City defender Anthony Gardner hopes to appear again this season after suffering an injury against West Ham.
Defender Gardner, 29, was stretchered off in Hull's defeat at West Ham after falling awkwardly in a challenge with Hammers stopper Matthew Upson.
And Tigers boss Phil Brown afterwards admitted he feared the centre-back may have broken his leg.
But the Mirror says Gardner has been told that is not the case.
And the defender is believed to have sustained ligament damage instead which means he could be back by April.
