Hull City defender Michael Dawson has revealed how working as a milkman during his childhood helped him become a successful footballer.
Dawson stated that his work as a milkman as a 13-year old ingrained him with had-working values and revealed that the experience has helped him become the player he is today.
The defender told The Times: "I put pressure on myself, I have standards and it's something I expect to have from everyone else. Perform, be professional, turn up on time.
"Do things right on the pitch and off the pitch, you know? It's about hard work, producing for your family. I'm no different to my mum and dad going to work."
