Whilst new Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari is willing to offload Pizarro, Brown feels that a deal to bring the Peru international to the KC Stadium is likely to be too expensive.

"It doesn't look likely that it's going to happen" Brown told the Hull Daily Mail.

"We asked what any deal would cost and then we tried to be creative with it. You've got to be creative once the figures are out of your reach.

"If you've got a receptive selling club then you've got a chance. But the ins and outs of the deal make it a very expensive one."
