Hull convinced they've won Fortune battle

Hull City are convinced of a deal for Nancy striker Marc-Antoine Fortune.

The Daily Mail says the Tigers believe they have won the race with Celtic and Fulham to sign French striker Fortune.

Hull, who hope to speak to Michael Owen's agents this week, will clinch a £2.5m deal for the Nancy forward and make him their first summer signing.

Celtic matched the bid but Fortune is keen on the Premier League. Fortune has discussed personal terms and will be handed a three-year deal worth £25,000-a-week.
