Hull City hope to trump Blackburn Rovers for Dutch free agent Bolo Zenden.
The Daily Star Sunday says the former Holland, Barcelona and Liverpool star, 33, is available on a free transfer after leaving Marseille this summer.
Zenden is keen to finish his career in England and is expected to meet Hull chiefs to discuss a deal this week.
