Hull City's Garcia prepared for Germany match if required

Hull City forward Richard Garcia says he is well-prepared for action against Germany on Monday morning Australian time if he is called upon.

The 28-year old has returned to fitness with the Socceroos after an injury lay-off towards the end of the English Premier League season and in the absence of Brett Emerton the right wing, has made a huge step towards game time in the opening World Cup group stage match against Germany.

Garcia says he is ready for action and will give his all for his country now he has found some form and fitness.

"I'm always ready," he said.

"It's been good to get time on the pitch. Good for my fitness, good for my confidence, good for eveything really. It's the pinnacle of anyone's career to play at the World Cup, so it the chance comes I'll try and grab it. I'm in the 23 [squad]. If I didn't believe I could play at this level, I wouldn't be here.

"It's still too far away, I'm just trying to get another week of training under my belt. When the time comes, we'll wait and see what happens."
