Hull City are set to swoop on Villarreal striker Jozy Altidore.

The 19-year old US international has been linked with a move to Fulham but the Tigers are believed to be ready to make an offer for around £6.5million.

Hull can offer Altidore regular first team football which would be welcome after being sent on loan to Xerex due to limited opportunities with El Submarino Amarillo.
