Hull City and Garcia in relegation battle

Hull City will be hoping they can get a positive result at KC Stadium this Saturday.

The Tigers, with Australian forward Richard Garcia in tow, host fellow cellar dwellers Wolves in a proverbial six-point match in the English Premier League where the loser could fall further into the drop zone.

Hull find themselves sitting second bottom on the table, four points clear of Portsmouth, but there is hope as 13th-placed Sunderland are just one win ahead of them. Wolves' situation isn't all that much better as they are only a point in front of tomorrow's opponents and fans of both clubs will be holding their breath waiting for the outcome of this one.

Elsewhere in the EPL, Mark Schwarzer will take the gloves yet again for Fulham as they host Aston Villa at Craven Cottage.

The Australian number one has been in brilliant form for the Cottagers in recent times and if it wasn't for his efforts against Tottenham on Tuesday, the 2-0 loss could have been even worse.

Fulham have created somewhat of a fortress at the Cottage this term and will be looking to break down a resilient Villa outfit and record their seventh win in front of home fans.

In East London, Socceroos midfield duo Brett Emerton and Vince Grella will suit up for the Blackburn Rovers who are away to West Ham United.

Blackburn are coming off a vital 2-1 midweek victory over Wigan to take them to 11th on the table and are expected to win the clash with a Hammers side who are lacking firepower at the minute.

And in Manchester, Tim Cahill and Everton will be at the DW Stadium to take on Wigan Athletic.

Cahill scored the opener for the Toffees in their 2-0 midweek win over Sunderland to put them up to ninth whilst the Latics went down 2-1 to Blackburn but remained in 14th position.

Everton will be searching for a much-needed away win to both improve their form away from Goodison Park and bridge the gap between them and the top 7 or 8 teams.
