Hull City are trawling the French market for new signings.

The Hull Daily Mail says Tigers chief scout Bob Shaw is known to have identified a couple of potential midfield targets in the French Ligue 1 towards the end of last season.

But with manager Phil Brown currently on holiday, any further negotiations are not expected until next week at the earliest.
