Hull City boss Steve Bruce sees Watford striker Troy Deeney as a replacement for Shane Long.
Bruce has sanctioned the departure of Long for around £12.5 million, with the Republic of Ireland international heading to Southampton for talks and a medical on Wednesday.
The Telegraph says Bruce will turn his attentions to a replacement, with Deeney known to be one of the targets on his list.
Deeney, the Watford captain, has already been the subject of bids from Leicester City, Queens Park Rangers, Burnley and Swansea City this summer.
