Hull City are chasing Reading midfielder Oliver Norwood.

The Sun says the Northern Ireland international, 25, was a shining light in an otherwise disappointing season for the Royals last term and Steve Bruce believes he would cut it in the Premier League.

An ex-Manchester United trainee, Norwood made his name at Huddersfield before a £1m switch to the Madejski in 2014.

He's been a mainstay in the Reading midfield since then and netted three times in 50 games last term.
