Hull City chairman Paul Duffen says they'll keep working the free agency market after the capture of Greek veteran Stelios Giannakopoulos.
He told the club's website: "We have to be pragmatic. It's a long season and we know the quality that is out there.
"We've just come away from a game against Everton where we've shown we can dominate a top five Premier League team for 45 minutes to an hour.
"As we go forward, we have to do that for 70 minutes, 75 minutes and then 90 minutes. I know we have that in our locker and we will be capable of taking advantage of situations as they come our way.
"But we're not out there on a mission. We have got a lot of confidence in the squad we have here now. Stelios makes it 12 additions so far this summer and that is quite enough.
"We can look forward to the next four to six weeks now to seeing the new additions bed down. Some of them haven't got enough match fitness under their belts yet, but once they have, I am confident we will have a potent squad of players and we will give a very good account of ourselves in this division."
