Hull City chairman Paul Duffen says they're prepared should Paul McShane be recalled by Sunderland from his loan.

"We have always known that there was a potential for Paul to be recalled but we have cover for that," Duffen said.

"Sunderland have been very transparent with us. But I don't want to be a hostage to fortune and predict what may or may not happen."
