Hull chairman Duffen welcomes offers for Brown

Hull City chairman Paul Duffen welcomes interest from bigger clubs in his manager Phil Brown.

"I think Phil is an amazingly talented manager, who had a rough time at Derby," Duffen said. "When he got the job at Hull after Phil Parkinson it could have been a bit of a hospital pass. But he has done an amazing job and this season speaks for itself.

"I would hope other clubs are looking at Phil - he is very good at his job. I believe that Phil Brown will manage a big club. The wonderful thing about the situation at Hull City is he can do more than that - he can create a big club. That is where Phil's ambitions lie. We are building a great partnership and his backroom staff make a wonderful unit."
