Hull City chairman Paul Duffen welcomes interest from bigger clubs in his manager Phil Brown. “I think Phil is an amazingly talented manager, who had a rough time at Derby,” Duffen said. “When he got the job at Hull after Phil Parkinson it could have been a bit of a hospital pass. “I would hope other clubs are looking at Phil – he is very good at his job. I believe that Phil Brown will manage a big club. The wonderful thing about the situation at Hull City is he can do more than that – he can create a big club. That is where Phil’s ambitions lie. We are building a great partnership and his backroom staff make a wonderful unit.”
