Hull City chairman Paul Duffen is standing by his management team over their accusation of spitting by Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas.
Duffen told Sky Sports News: "Without a doubt, something happened.
"Unfortunately, I can't say too much about it now because the FA have launched an enquiry and I am sure they will find out exactly what happened and establish what needs to be done as a result of that.
"As far as we are concerned, we know what happened. Many members of our staff and team know what happened, so we welcome the enquiry totally.
"It is a very simple thing, it is cause and effect and it needs to be sorted out. I am very happy the FA have launched an enquiry."
