Hull City chairman Paul Duffen feels the club's image is quickly improving since their Premiership promotion.
Duffen admits players have been put off Hull in the past.
He said: "Last season we came close to signing one player only for his girlfriend to wreck the deal because she didn't want to live here.
"Hull had a reputation as Britain's worst city. I think we are only the second worst city now, ahead of Middlesbrough."
