Hull City are closing on a deal for Norwich City midfielder Robert Snodgrass.
The Hull Daily Mail says the Tigers are closing in on a deal to sign Snodgrass in a transfer that could equal a club record fee.
Just a day after recruiting Jake Livermore from Tottenham in a move that could be worth up to £8m, the Tigers have agreed a similar figure with Norwich over long-standing target Snodgrass.
City had initially tabled an offer of £6m for the Scotland international but negotiations have since seen the bid upped.
Although the Canaries were asking for £10m for their Player of the Season, it is understood a fee in the region of £7m, rising to £8m based on appearances, has provisionally been agreed.
