Hull City are set to sign Gaston Ramirez on loan from Southampton.

Reports suggest that the Tigers will land the 23-year old attacking midfielder on a season-long loan from the Saints after spending the past two years on the south coast.Sky Sports believes that Ramirez does not fit in new Saints boss Ronald Koeman's plans for the season ahead and has been given permission to leave for the KC Stadium.

Since arriving at St Mary's from Bologna in the summer of 2012, Uruguay international Ramirez has scored nine goals in 50 appearances for the Saints.
