Hull boss Phelan finds his new keeper coach

Hull City boss Mike Phelan has found a new goalkeeping coach.

Sky Sports says they will appoint former Everton and Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Bobby Mimms as a coach.

Mike Phelan has been left with a threadbare backroom team in recent weeks after Stephen Clemence and goalkeeping coach Steve Walsh left the club to join Steve Bruce at Sky Bet Championship side Aston Villa.

Academy manager Tony Pennock has stepped up to help out, while Phelan has brought in Neil McDonald as his assistant, and Mimms will now fill Walsh's position as the club's new goalkeeping coach.
