Hull boss Nigel Pearson is expected to return to the training ground on Friday following his release from hospital. The 47 year old was admitted to hospital last Friday after complaining of chest pains, but has been given the all-clear following extensive tests.

The former Leicester boss, installed as Phil Brown's permanent successor at the KC Stadium in June, was discharged on Tuesday afternoon and will spend the next couple of days resting at home.
