The Daily Mail says Hornets boss Walter Mazzarri is battling to keep his job at Vicarage Road.

Watford chiefs have already started the process of drawing up a list of candidates to replace Mazzarri if they decide to part with him at the end of the season.

Hull's Silva, who is set to leave the Tigers this summer, is one of the club's preferred candidates.

However, Silva is likely to be inundated with offers this summer after impressing in his five-month spell with Hull.
