Hull City boss Marco Silva is ready to close the signing of Porto midfielder Evandro.

Silva worked with Evandro at Estoril and expects to sign the Brazilian today.

The midfielder arrived in Hull yesterday and is expected to sign in a €1.2 million deal.

Silva said: "We have to attack the market quickly to solve some problems. In the Portuguese market, the quality player is not cheap either, but there are players that interest us and who I know well, and would like to have them with us.

"I cannot hide that Evandro is a player that I know well and I would like to count on him to add something to the team."
