Hull boss concentrating on PL survival

Hull City boss Phil Brown is looking to have 30 points by Christmas. The Tigers can reach the 30 point mark with victory over Sunderland at the KC Stadium on Saturday.

Asked if he was looking at a UEFA qualifying spot, Brown said: "No, I am not looking at them figures at all.

"At this moment in time I am looking at sitting down at Christmas lunch with my wife and kids and the rest of my family and it would be nice to have 30 points on board.

"If we have got 30 points on the board then everybody knows what the figures are with regards to survival, everybody knows what the figures are with regards to the top 10, and everybody knows what the figures are with regards to the UEFA cup and the Champions League.

"Yes, we have a points target for 20 games and it would be nice to get to 30 points before Christmas," he told the Hull Daily Mail
