Hull City boss Steve Bruce has assured Yannick Sagbo he won't be written off.
Sagbo saw a loan with Wolves cut short earlier this season.
"The loan did not go as well as anyone would have liked," Bruce told the Hull Daily Mail. "The idea was for Yannick to go out and play some games but sadly that didn't happen.
"I'm sure they've got their reasons but he only started one game at Wolves so it was difficult for him to get up to speed.
"The loan didn't work out and that's disappointing for everyone but there was no point keeping Yannick there if he wasn't going to play games.
"He's back with us now and it's up to him to knuckle down and work his way back into contention.
"This season hasn't worked out for him so far but that can soon change. There's no reason why he can't get back in business with so many games coming up."
