Hull City manager Steve Bruce wants to sign Arsenal midfielder Isaac Hayden outright.

Bruce made a bid to sign the 20-year-old during the January transfer window and, though Arsenal refused to sell earlier this year, he will continue his pursuit of Hayden in the summer.

“With Nick Powell and Isaac Hayden I would love to make the deals permanent right now," he told BBC Radio Humberside. “They're the type of young lads you build your club around.

“They weren't interested in January but it's something we'll prolong and see what happens in the summer."
