Hull City boss Steve Bruce asked about a deal for Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard DURING defeat at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

The Hull Daily Mail says Bruce was able to put Chelsea's jaw-dropping performance in the opening half-hour into perspective and could be seen joking with Jose Mourinho on the touchline.

Mourinho later revealed how Bruce asked for Lampard on loan and offered the Humber Bridge in exchange.
