Hull City boss Steve Bruce is interested in Tottenham defender Danny Rose.
The Hull Daily Mail says the Yorkshire-born defender, who turned 24 this week, has been the subject of an enquiry from the Tigers this summer and could face an uncertain future at White Hart Lane.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is ready to spend £8m on Swansea's Ben Davies and the arrival of a new left-back would leave Rose in the shadows.
Bruce would like to offer an escape route on the right terms, offering Rose the chance to follow in the footsteps of pals Tom Huddlestone and Jake Livermore.
