Hull City boss Steve Bruce won't let Harry Maguire return to Sheffield United on-loan.
Bruce sees no point in loaning him back to the Blades and wants him to join a Championship club, with Wigan and Middlesbrough keen.
"I don't think there is any benefit in letting him go back to Bramall Lane," said the Hull boss.
"The one thing I have said to Harry is that if there is not enough game time for him, then we will maybe look to put him out on loan.
"It is something we may look at. At the moment, I am just delighted that Harry is with us and getting used to playing in the training regimes.
"He is only a young boy - the future is very bright for him - he is just going to have to be a little bit patient."
